Am thinking about building a custom and choices that I have atm are either a 92" softail or 07" rocker it's the same old question: Evo vs Twin cam, 5speed vs 6 speed and Carb vs EFI. Please help guys as I'm only new to the scene thanks

When building a car , i have always been told by my hot rodder mates  , you must start out with a finished goal in mind and not stray during the building process . Everything is done in steps , and if you change direction , then some of the previous steps will have to be re-done . It will be the same for building a bike . Follow what Chopaweeza said .

EVO's have that slimmer look too there engine T.Cam bottom section is a bit ulgy, EVO is more older style  like a shovel head but with a different top end only & would a chopper more

Do have a finished pricture in mind (attached) which both bike will get me there but am working on whether the saving in between the 2 bike will it be worth for me getting the older instead of the later mod. as for the rocker i can save on spending money on the new swing arm and folks + more choices on seat anyway here's what i try to achieve thanks

G'day, saw your post about maybe using a Rocker. Most I've seen get all chromed up and look like they're owned by hairdressers. Did this one with HD inverted front end and Blackline front wheel. But you have to move tank back & do something about seat too. Puttin' black on engine is simple, just buy bits and put em on. Pipes are Freedoms with add on to ends. Might give you a few ideas for what it's worth. Hopefully photo comes through

Hey man thanks for your advise the only problem with the one i'm looking at is that the colur of the stock bike is candy red which it doesn't match with black. I do originally want an all black out bike but with my budget i have to do it in stages anyway do have a few parts in mind and yours looks pretty cool to me

Finally decided on the bike. Will be picking it up next week
