I have an 07 FLHTCU and put on the premium oil cooler and the in dash temp gauge. Cooler works fine but the batwing gauge is a waste of money as the sensor is an add-on in the cool side of the oil line; not like the pre-07s. So I use the oil temp gauge in the filler...highes temp every recorded on a 52C day was 231F at the filler...highest ever seen on the dash is 115F, Tex
