Here's another nice specimen, with V&H big shots and bigger apes. Notice the under hung mirrors. I'm also running the Le Pera barebones solo at the moment, it's a bit firm but ok around town. It fitsthe bike so neat. This pic also has the pillion seat, which is handy for short trips to the pub on a Sunday :-)
Hi Brick
Great looking bike , to may ideas .
I put some more photos up with the new pipes .
Looks like your bikes lowered ? if so by how much .
Cheers Bevo
another fine deluxe
Hi Bevo,
Yes it is lowered, it was even more so when I got it, but I asked for it to be raised a touch, not sure of exact height, I will find out. I may even go higher still, either that or lose a few kilos!! Hey, have you doner any research on seating options? I am a tall rider (6’) with long legs and I don’t fit the standard stock H-D Deluxe seat set-up. (it puts me too far forward). I need to be sitting back further so I recently fitted the Le Pera bare bones solo seat and it puts me in better riding position but it is a bit firm and I only use that around town, not for longer trips. I am looking a for a similar seat for touring 2 Up with my wife, conscious of me sitting further back, and with more lower back support if possible and a nice comfy ride for my wife. But I don't like the look of the big fat seats, either H-D or Mustang seats, The Le Pera Sorrento looks good, see photo below, what do you think?
