I like the 71 Sporty and if I did more city riding and less country riding I'd probably buy one, personally I think you could do a lot worse.

 Seen a couple of these getting around Sydney , look very cool and old school , trivettes has one on display , the only thing is the tank looks even smaller than the one on my iron , still very cool - seventy-2 , but check out the 2013 cvo break-out that's next on my list I reckon  

 

it's the tank off a 48, not a nightster or iron, so it's 2.2 gallon. So def. a city bike. Go the denim black, and you'll have a bike for years. Esp. if you get a 3.3 gallon iron tank as well for longer trips.

dude do a search for 72's on the american hdforums site. it will quickly help decide if you want to get one and what direction you can go with it.

shame you arent in melbourne...harley heaven in the city have a red one with some extra bits on it (sprung seat, nostalgic grips etc.) and its looks awesome.
