    Hi All,

I am thinking of looking for a set of 4" risers for my 2012 Roadking but would like to know if I can get away with using the exixting cables and not having to purchase new longer ones, or if not then what size risers can I use without changing any cabling..... thank you for your input.

    Regards Len

much appreciated guys thanks for the information, unfortunately I have factory fitted heated handgrips on my bike and I dont want to replace the handle bars for that reason, so it is risers I notice there is a cover over the narcelle and factory risers that will need replacing as well  so not sure if I can do it may have to ask the harley mechanic what they reckon.

I spoke to the dealer about extending my 2012 Road Kings bars and they said there was only about 1 inch of play, anything over that you'd need new cables. That's what they told me for what it's worth. If you go down the path of replacing the cables I'd be interested in knowing the cost

Thanks Canetoad, that's a lot less than what I thought.
