has anyone fitted hid lighting to there bikes[ones with light bars] like the deluxe , glides etc. i dont mean just whack a hid globe in it and go , i mean with the correct projectors that give a correct light cut off. theres a guy on another forum that does it  4x4,s,trucks and what not and the performance of these lights is nothing less than brillant.

i,m thinking of doing the deluxe, and was after some opinions

just to bring a few up to date

i ordered my gear for my hid  on the weekend and it turned up today, well packed

now to sit down and make it happen

here are some pics of whats in the box

Sounds interesting sp, but for performance and "cut-off", or precise direction of light, I always thought that it was the reflector that determined the spread and patern.

Most of us that have tried HID have gone to LED's for what we beleive is a superior light.

HID's are cheap enough, so it will be interesting to see what the Correct projectors are all about and what they add to the cost as compared to the not so cheap LED's.

OEM on the passing lights are 4 inch semi sealed beams with 12 volt 35 watt halogen globes, usually.

You gotta link to the guy that does the conversion ?
