Baloff tell me about it! My new ultra just keeps on impressing me all the time. Just got back on sunday from a 1000k ride to uralla and back and on the way up there, fully loaded with the missus on the back i had a go wth a Rocker C around the twisties on the Oxley Hwy for about 20 ks or so and kept up with him all the way. Only scraped twice on the left but not bad. He came up to me after when we stopped and couldn't beleive that i could keep up to him! Heeps better clearance than my old heritage and fatty. Coming back home on sunday through Thunderbolts way and me mate behind said he had trouble keeping up through the bends. He was on a 98 evo heritage with a GLH frame, Trease cases and a cam. It was lowered a bit but he was only 1 up. Anyway these new framed tourers are a surprise package. I love it. Sorry, i love Tigger.
plus they're the best looking bagger in the lineup i went to order one a few weeks ago but got a killer deal on a new 2012 road king that they needed to move, hope i don't end up regretting my decision but so far so good.
Hey Scotti i am lovin the King just prefered RG in appearence, thinkin along same lines as u & will prob go quick release batwing n tourpak
Nahhhhhhh. My bike is too sexy for me. ha ha.
It's a full on supersized double decker pizza burger with fries inside and pineapple too! And BACON.
Ya can't have too much fun on one of these!!!!!!!!!!!!
nah....was a bit odd from the start but doesn't bother me
Still thinkin hey? Go for it Robcig........ you will love it.
Yeah still thinking.......
This is my first harley and I moved from a Suzuki Boulevard M90 cruiser in september this year to a 2012 roadking I find the roadking seems slower both on pickup and response, and I definatley feel the heat coming up from the engine, in the handling dept I agree that the handling of the roadking is way better and definatley more solid going into a corner I used to get a bit of front end movement on the suzie and the suzie didnt ride the bumps on the road where the harley glides over the same bumps without that sharp up your spine jerk that stops at your teeth according to the wife, as I use the 95 or 98 ron fuel cost is dearer but I think it is better on fuel and am happy with the longer range I am getting too. so far I have only done 4000ks but am just getting used to the bike which is a great solid machine. And after christmas the wife and I are going to ride it across the Nullie to Perth and back to Melbourne.
Actually I have done 5690ks on the RK since september not 4000 I checked it tonight..... unfortunately I wont be do any riding after the 26th November for at least 4 weeks due to an operation I need but we are still hoping to head off to Perth on the 26th December will depend on what the surgeon reckons I suppose.
