I used redline ATF since the first chane on my bike. Its racked up 12000kms now, recently i had a leaking primary, made the repair and put mobil1 v-twin in it, cause its all I had. Clutch seems to have more bite and stays in adjustment much better than it did when i ran the redline.

I have recently changed from Redline heavy duty shcockproof back to Mobil 1 transmission API GL-5, so far I can't notice any difference as both are good oils.

I have always changed the oils this way, 4,000k engine and filter, 8k gearbox and primary and have never had any issues. My only rule has been to use good/recomended oils and no Harley shit oil.

A mate of mine swears by Belray oil, I've not used it yet as I get the Mobil 1 trade and just tried they Redline as a 1 off nothing wrong with it but for me the Mobil 1 is cheaper.

Having a shit of a time finding a Redline dealer in Geelong. Bursons used to have it but now dont. I can get it off e-bay so that might be my best option. What about NULON? anyone use that in a gearbox.??

Got some Red Line from your man SDMF and chucked it in today. Went for a test ride, about 80Ks and to be honest I didn't notice a whole lot of difference. I think I was expecting some sort of miracle after reading some of the posts on here about it. Might have been a little easier to get into neutral as its a bitch most of the time. (Clutch as been adjusted) Anyway its in so we shall see how it goes. Thanks again for the heads up on where to get some. Here in sleepy G Town (Geelong) I was met with many a blank stare when I asked about it. Cheers.

Wouldn't run anything else in any of my bikes. Change it once a year and it comes out the same as it went in.
yep, it's aHD, they clunk and bang, for sure, but the redline will extend tranny life with out a doubt.
