Got an 09HD FXCWC Rocker Custom had it on trickle charge and went to start it no luck won't even click or turn when try to start . Alarm keeps going off. Whent and bought a new bike battery and still won't start alarm keeps going off. Went and bought new battery s for alarm fobs still no luck alarm goes off. Tried to disarm with manual pin won't do it alarm goes off. Pulling out what little hair I have left. ANY ANSWERS ?????
Welcome Aussiehoon Does the alarm go of if you move the bike or only when you turn the ignition on. Its posable the tssm is set to transport mode ?. If the bike is parked around strong electrical curant it can screw up the signal from the FOB.
I gave a wind up 240volts power extension which I plug the trickle charger into under the front wheel but this was never an issue in the past ? I will go and take the power extension away to see if this works. The alarm goes off when I turn the ignition on and won't turn over just nothing. Thanks for your input tho .
I would try turning the ignition on and pulling the main maxi fuse then give it a few minutes to reset the ECM and hopefully the tssm . Plug the maxi fuse back in with the ignition on. I will read my diagnostic manual after work and see if I can find a fix. If you send me a PM with your email address I can send you a few pages on how to check the system over and reset the a new sercurity code number
Yes purchased a brand new bike battery and fob batteries from HD dealer and still alarm goes off as I said not at full loud noise but quieter maybe the alarm back up battery is stuffed ?
Check that the batteries are the correct way up in the fob. Don't ask how I know.
Regards
Amazing !!!!!!!! Bike now works . Turns out the new fob batteries I had just purchased were down on voltage and got them replaced for another new lot and hey presto the bike if fine ......no alarm going off and starts first time. Thanks a heap to all people for their input and answers very much appreciated.
