Hey fella's, today I had to reinstall windows so I copied what I thought were my tts files onto a stick...Did the install and went to load the files back in but all I had copied were the short cuts...Is this a problem if I don't want to put the bike back to stock form or should I try and chase up an original map(if you can even do that)...

    Cheers...Sparra

Not a big drama unless a dealer tries to install a HD map in the ECM with there digital technician. WARNING. If dealer tries the ECM will lock up and need to be returned to TTS. If you want to go back to the old mt7 files you will need the original mte map. The lost map can be retrieved if you post the ECM to TTS.

I should also add for the TTS users the site now has a bank for downloading your original mte map so if your computer goes down the map is safely stored for retrieval.

Interested to see the outcome of this one

Probabaly along with lots of others, I don't have my stock OEM MAP either

Why ? I was a long term original SERT user before becoming a TTS user.

Didn't save my cal as was in the ECM when I did my first TTS download, as strictly speaking it wasn't the stock OEM Cal anyways

( I know, I know , I shoulda saved what was in there and just called it the stock OEM cal but it's too late now !!)

Having guided many others thru' the process since I have always saved the stock cal, because it WAS the stock cal'

I do know the saved stock cals are Vin numbered , so you can't use them to restore another bike , I have tried that one as well.

If you have a 2010/2011 96" Dyna WG I can help you with my copy.

PM your email address and I'll flick you through a copy

    Cheers

TTS created a place for you all to store your calibrations away from home.

    http://www.mastertune.net/repositary.php

Just put your calibration on the site and you can get them back anytime you want. Good place as a safety net for those of you that have them stored at home.

I MIGHT be able to help but there is no Guaranty. Send me a saved file from your ECM along with what your bike was to start with and I can see if I have anything for it.

Thanks for that Steve and if I get stuck I'll be in touch..Now when I did the windows re-install I also had to install all my programs including the TTS software...The map that is in my bike is one that has been generated after 2 v-tunes and is now for all intense and purpose my original map...I want to do more runs so how do I get that map into master tune so I can reset the parameters and continue tuning it???I have saved it as my original... No matter fella's...worked it out...

    Cheers...Sparra

    To Glaz

There's a "saved file" part of the TTS software , that's where the file will have gone.

If you " dig like a bastard " you'll find it somewhere in TTS mate

An internal computer search for named files may do it for you

Just use the computer "Search" function and look for the file. If you cannot find it use "*.MTE" as the search file your looking for and it will find it for you. If you did not change the default path we setup it should be found in C:\My Documents\TTS\HD\MasterTune-HD\Uploads
