Got my bikes suspension upgraded today, well fuck my brown dog what a differance it has made, like riding a different bike.

I spent a fair bit more than i had intended too,but all is good as it has transformed handleing, ride, cornering etc.

Ended up fitting Racetech GS3 shocks custom built for your weight and style of riding and front forks overhauled with Gold valve emulators, new springs etc.

Anyway it cost me just over 2 grand but is worth every cent in my eyes and would recommend to anyone looking for an upgrade, also rear shocks are half an inch longer which has improved handleing.

Hope this has helped anyone thinking of suspension upgrades.

    Cheers 68 Wideglide.

Hi berms I decided on racetech shocks as they are set up for riders weight and riding style when orderd as opposed to ohlins straight out of box,

though both sets of shocks of same quality though.

I did do a bit of research on the net before i purchased and decicided to go for better quality shocks as i like to get into it  in the twisties bumps and all.

Being 110kgs(fat bastard) bottoming out when bike had stock suspension on rough roads at speed ect and a couple of hairy moments also helped with choice.

Anyways take it easy hope this helps.

p.s. suspension and handeling of bike are top notch now.

Thanks for the info, I've just started looking at options for a suspension upgrade. I wasn't planning on spending as much as you did but you usually get what you pay for. Looks like I might have to save for a bit longer.
