Hi there, Has anyone mounted a 7" headlight on their 48?  Do you mind putting up some pics, front and side on.  I am thinkin' about giving it a go for somethin different. I have seen a couple of aftermarket chrome ones instead of a real mccoy fatboy light, would be good to get a black one though if anyone has seen them.....easy enough to get powder coated tho.

     Hey machine,

just checking out the pics o your bike...very cool mate thinking about changing my 48 style seat on my Iron....to the same spring saddle you have,

are you happy with the spring saddle and is it a comfortable ride?

i think it finishes of the bobber look.

i have a mate who has a seat for sales, but I just need to chase up the pan base and springs.

Are you happy with the saddle?

    Hey Johno,
Thanks man, yeah I do like the spring seat but did take me a bit to get used to it. I was sliding around a bit at the start but i think that might have been my riding position. I now sit right into the seat and lean back in a more relaxed position, rides more comfortable, after all its not an agressive wrist cracker riding position on a 48. Some people don't like the spring seat on a spring suspension bike but each to their own, I reckon it looks alright.

I also have a LaPera Cherokee seat, haven't used it for a while, might change it up and give it a run.

     That sounds good mmachine,

i might take my mates bike for a lap to see how the seat feels.

i know it looks cool but a long day in the saddle can be hard to take if the seat is an issue.

i will do some more homework and go from there.

    Thanks mate
