Saw a nice looking 2012 Softail Slim today, lovely looking bike, however what was the HD MotoCo thinking when they put those handle bars on?

Remind me of a Motocross bike I had years ago.

 

Read somewhere in a mag , aparantly they`re retro HD OEM of old , possibly where moto-X got the idea from originally , a "jesus bar" for the ol`hillclimbers perhaps ?

They are actually very comfy, but they do look like crap.
