Hmmmm , maybe you need to give up studdying psychobabble. If youve been studdying psychobabble for years and are still studying psychobabble cause you dont get psychobabble, maybe psychobabble is not for you to psychobabble about psychobabble from other psychobabblers who are psychobabbling about pointless psychobabble on this post.

    or put more simply

Psychobabble, [ a potmantea of  'psychology', 'psychoanalysis' and 'babble' ] is a form of prose using jargon, buzzwords and highly esoteric language to give an impression of plausibility through mistification, misdirection and obfuscation. the term implies that the speaker of psychobabble lacks the experience and understanding necessary for the proper use of a psychololgical term.

and further, frequent use can associate a clinical word with less meaningful buzzword definitions. Some psychological buzzwords have come into widespread use in buisness management training, motivational seminars, self-help, folk psychology, and popular psychology, and unpopular psychology. lay people may overuse such words in descibing lifes problems as clinical maladies when such nomenclature is not appropriate, meaningful or valuable.

Theodore Dalrymple defines the term, 'the means by which people talk about themselves without revealing anything ]

    HUUURRRUMPH

    Spelling ; Psychobabble, not psychobable.

    DOUBLE HUUURRRUMPH

    Bugger me!

I share a thought and it morphs into some 9 headed Hydra. The sniping gets nasty and for no reason. I thought people were here to share a common love and to share stories, ideas and technical knowledge that we can all share in. We can't all have the biggest dick, be the toughest, have the biggest balls and god knows what other bullshit you think makes you Uber manly but we can ALL be safe in the knowledge that we all love the same thing....motorcycles! That's the one thing that binds us all. I love it when I ride and pass a fellow biker and get "the nod", always happens, when was the last time you got one in a car?

Hey hey fellas , fuckers whatever it may now be now that ya`s have all been told today , don`t get too hard now , you might rust or break , opinions are like arseholes and we all got one right , all being equal , don`t be too quick to judge and ridicule people on an internet bike forum , it`s HD forums not HC forums , there is a whole fugged up world out there to whine about and besides , everyone seems fugged in their own special way right , no one was attacking you BC , your lifestyle or beliefs , as we all end up in the same type box , ditch or flames one day , it`s lifes great leveller , brings us all back to the same level , don`t look now but most of us are concieved and brought into this world the same sort of way too , i wasn`t even aware that the "Lifestyle" was some sort of competition or manhugger Show^BC , i for one ain`t no MMA Champ nor Queer either for that matter , but did start riding age 7 when me dear ol`man bought me my first love , now im 40 and seekin a psycological evaluation or explanation as to where i fit into all this , now much confushon , being pretty much a loner that enjoys a ride or 2 each week or fortnight , actually did the "ol`3 fairys" run this afternoon with the missus and current "love of me life" , strangely fugg all bikes and fugg all traffic , besides all the smoke from outa control "hazzard reduction" burn offs , does life really get any better ?
They are only a bike , "but mine is my bike , and i`ll wash it as fast as i like" , anyway maxiboy i think most got your OP and drift hey ?

Mmmm ,,, been trying to think if i'm a wanna b or a wanker , maybee someone can let me know ,, started riding about 30 years ago on jap bikes ,, progressed to Harleys and triumphs , Now i don't ride old bikes , because i can't fix them , and don't like paying through the nose for mechanics , so i will keep them new , or newish .

I generally ride on my own or with one or two mates , on average i get out at least 3 times a week , always put at least 150 klm in or i don't consider it a ride , 4-5 times a year will do a big ride over to victoria the ocean road and that area , at least once a year put the missis on the back and take off for 2-3 weeks . Also if its pissing down thats the time i LOVE to grab my wet weather gear and go for a ride , roads are quieter its more fun trying to stay upright in the hills and i find it peacefull .

I don't mix with clubbies although i do know a few who always ask me to the club for a beer when i see them , they respect my discision when i say thanks but no thanks , you guys live a different lifestyle to me, but were here in the pub so we can have a beer now . I don't go on freedom rides simply because i don't want to spend a hour on the side of the road getting hassled and my bike defected .
    .
Now the look , i used to wear open face , always wore boots and gloves but other than that jeans and t shirt or flannette shirt , now i will never get on the bike unless i've got draggin jeans or leather pants , my t shirt is always covered by either my dri rider jacket or a leather jacket , i've also started wearing a shoie full face , and find it the most comfortable helmit i've ever owned , I own harley t shirts but i REFUSE to wear them , and the reason for that is simple pubs near me are full of guys who wear harley clobber , harley belt buckles , cheap skull and dragon rings,, and don't even own a bike ,and i'm fucked if i want to be associated has being with them or like them .

Don't paticular like big group rides , because theres always idiots trying to show of there skills and making it dangerous . I smile and wave to every biker i ride past , i talk to any one who will talk to me when i'm on a ride and i don't give a fuck what they ride, i sometimes stop at a pub and have 1 or 2 at the most but more often than not a coffee shop , thats because i generally leave to ride at 6-7 am and am home for 2-3 pm when i park up and go to the pub

    So i don't know if i'm a wanna b or not

OK to all and sundry lets see if I can put my thoughts and Ideals down so there is no misconception of what or who I am. This is a HD forum right so I'm not interested in any other bike any more only Harleys thats what I ride and have done for 36 years and in doing that it has or rather they (thats only three in 36 years) have become a part of me they have had an impact on who I am, I know their just a mechanical transport device but I love em, their like nothing else no  immitations can replicate what they are, and yeah I'm from the old school where the philosophy was ride hard and die hard, but fortunately or maybe unfortunaley I have survived into my sixth decade, I've buried a lot of mates on the way here so sometimes I think I have the right to profer my thoughts even If it upsets the apple cart.

Yes anyone has the right to own and ride a Harley if they so choose, but I abhore the fact that people and a lot of them buy a Harley as an accessory It's just a fashion statement for them, In my eyes they just degrade the whole reason and meaning behind what I believe Harleys mean to me and I suspect a lot of you in this forum.

These maybe the thoughts of an old biker but there mine.

RIDE HARD DIE HARD. Cheers you'all
