Hmmmm , maybe you need to give up studdying psychobabble. If youve been studdying psychobabble for years and are still studying psychobabble cause you dont get psychobabble, maybe psychobabble is not for you to psychobabble about psychobabble from other psychobabblers who are psychobabbling about pointless psychobabble on this post.
or put more simply
Psychobabble, [ a potmantea of 'psychology', 'psychoanalysis' and 'babble' ] is a form of prose using jargon, buzzwords and highly esoteric language to give an impression of plausibility through mistification, misdirection and obfuscation. the term implies that the speaker of psychobabble lacks the experience and understanding necessary for the proper use of a psychololgical term.
and further, frequent use can associate a clinical word with less meaningful buzzword definitions. Some psychological buzzwords have come into widespread use in buisness management training, motivational seminars, self-help, folk psychology, and popular psychology, and unpopular psychology. lay people may overuse such words in descibing lifes problems as clinical maladies when such nomenclature is not appropriate, meaningful or valuable.
Theodore Dalrymple defines the term, 'the means by which people talk about themselves without revealing anything ]
Jesus Mick, you're even getting me confused now..........
OK to all and sundry lets see if I can put my thoughts and Ideals down so there is no misconception of what or who I am. This is a HD forum right so I'm not interested in any other bike any more only Harleys thats what I ride and have done for 36 years and in doing that it has or rather they (thats only three in 36 years) have become a part of me they have had an impact on who I am, I know their just a mechanical transport device but I love em, their like nothing else no immitations can replicate what they are, and yeah I'm from the old school where the philosophy was ride hard and die hard, but fortunately or maybe unfortunaley I have survived into my sixth decade, I've buried a lot of mates on the way here so sometimes I think I have the right to profer my thoughts even If it upsets the apple cart.
Yes anyone has the right to own and ride a Harley if they so choose, but I abhore the fact that people and a lot of them buy a Harley as an accessory It's just a fashion statement for them, In my eyes they just degrade the whole reason and meaning behind what I believe Harleys mean to me and I suspect a lot of you in this forum.
These maybe the thoughts of an old biker but there mine.
RIDE HARD DIE HARD. Cheers you'all
