Was using spectro primary oil before the ATF it functioned ok with the spectro but was hard to find neutral so I gave the ATF a go.

I adjusted the clutch when I but the ATF in , when you feed the lever out slowly all is ok but when you give it Some revs and let the lever out fast it grabs real hard and harsh.

I have drained the ATF and put in some castrol mix 75-80 tranny oil have not taken it for a test yet see how it goes tomorrow.

I thought I read somewhere to soak the clutch plates in your primary oil before fitting them if true how long for is it just to coat them evenly or are they supposed to soak into the non metal rings? If so how long?
