 i have neck and should issues thus why i gave up riding sports bikes. not sure how the damage came about most probably my younger years of motocross, skatboards, skiing and the like.

G`day fellas , on a serious note and without pissing in anyones pockets and also unsure if even allowed to give a plug on this subject here , but for anyone injured at work and now facing the Depressingly brutal changes that Barry has implimented for us in NSW and soon to be followed in all states , rediculous legaslation changes that will affect all workers and their families , there are a few great sites for information and help , one is the relatively newly launched , " Injured Workers Support Network ".
Once again , a very serious issue with the potential to affect every worker , sic-puppy you arn`t alone mate !

Yeah mick not sure if it`s something the HDForums site is willing to do or support but it would be a great thread to vent frustrations helping any sufferrer or victim as we all have the potential of becoming one , but is something that many don`t even concider or think about until it effects them personally through friends or a family member .
Depression is a silent killer and is on the rise as has recently been brought to attention with different charity rides and appeals .
One minute your confidently moving through life doing your best , thinking , who me , never and the next your on the end of it , fucked and without too many options , the consequences of which tend to be catastrophic for the victim and their families !
The thing is sometimes the System itself is more detrimental to the injured worker and their families than the injury itself , especially now that the Laws have been changed effectively throwing OH+S out the window , allowing employers to push the safety envolope and giving scrupulous insurers the green light to harrass and screw sick and vulnarable Injured Workers and their families to the wall even more , with such things as changes to Workcover Cirtificates sighting a Workers Capacity Declaration highlighting what someone Can do instead of what they Can`t do , meaning If you have the capacity to lick a stamp , being all they need to screw the injured out of weekly payments and even medical costs after a period of time , regardless of if there is even a stamp licking job available or not ?
It`s`s a sadistic turn of events and is just the begginning as some of the stories coming out from the woodwork are absolutely horrendous , all states will use NSW Law Changes as their template effectively effecting all Australian Workers , by shifting genuine cases from the Workers Comp System to the Public System that every Australian Taxpayer then has the costs to burden , instead of the Insurers who are paid to cover it ? QLD taking NSW lead , is moving on it now too !
It really is disgusting and something that will be exposed publicly as more and more Injured Workers lose the lot , including the family home and quite possibly thier family and their lives ?
Maybe a thread on the subject would be good as sometimes simply having an outlet to vent frustrations to like minded people and talk about such things as Depression can be that one thing to release the pressures of life and possibly even save a life ?
I apologise for saying i wouldn`t piss in any pockets fellas , i`m not employed with the IWSN , just attended one or two group meetings at the Workers Health Center , after becoming a victim of the workcover system myself , though i do concider myself one of the much luckier ones .

 Dont appoligise, more blokes are in this situation than you can imagine, At least all or part of the points you are making are very valid points for many blokes Start a thread on offtopic and see how ya go. Another bloke on this forum has gone through, and still is going through pretty much the same thing i have and still are. It wasnt good in anyway to know another blokes going through the same thing, but it was very helpful to know that someone else understands what im going through. One thing he told me is something im going to chase up. So being on this forum site has allready helped in my situation anyway. Even if you accidently step on a toe or two, most people will realise its with good intention, All on here a big boys, theyll handle it. Even if a few wanna have a sook, Take my view.
