Hi,

I need some knowledgable information. I want to change the seat (s) on my 92 FXDC. The seat I have in mind is from a 98 FXWG & sissy bar (extra padding).

Does any one know if this can be done? or how much modifications will be involved on the rear tab? Thanks for any information offered.

I have done more research on my sitting issue & my choices are 90 - 95 dyna's seats will only do the job (direct fit) according to the US custom forum & aftermarket products mob.
Unless I wish to start do modifications, which = more $$$

I would probably go a stainless tab, I have a pretty good tool kit to do the job so there is no issues there.
I just didn't want to go spending hundreds of $ to find it was a waste of time or unforeseen difficulties, as I also want to add a detachable sissy bar to keep the handbrake happy.
She won't be on the bike very often, but its to keep me in the good books.
