I am going to put a set of 10" mini apes on my 2010 wideglide...I was going to buy an installation kit but I can only find them for 12"...Does this mean my cables etc could maybe fit the 10" mini's...I looked at the handlebar reference chart but how this helps with cable lengths is any body's guess...

I have heard that the 10s fit on with all the stock cables. I haven't tried yet, but I am planning too eventually!!

You can buy ape kits from the US in all sizes with cables and controls already mounted for about $800 delivered. They look good too!! Comes pre wired with the connectors that plug straight in.

Cheers for the reply's fella's...I already had the bars off a Street Bob...Any way I did the job today,started at 3pm and was test riding at 6pm...That is from start to finish with the new bars internally wired...Look great and comfy as...

Sparra.... How was the length?? Any pics mate?  Oh.. and did you cut and solder, or pull the pins?

Every thing fitted length wise Mongrel...I did have to re-route the clutch cable and undo the fron't brake line clip where it saddles under the bottom tree...

I pulled the pins and the wiring was plenty long enough as there was a few inches coiled up under the tank...I actually followed KC's instructions from an earlier thread he had up and they worked a treat....I'll organise some pic's...

I haven't ridden far but it seems really comfortable...I have a mate with 16" on a fatty and he loves them...On a long trip he moves em back a little and leans back onto his luggage...

They are Bassani Road Rage(short) part no 13122J...I got them from MandM in the states,I think they where $650 or something like that...5 days from there to my door...They are a bit loud and I am trying to get some quiet baffles for them but can't seem to find any...There are plenty about for the Long megaphone...
