Interesting that you don't have to have any proof that you ride a motorcycle, so who's to stop any silly prick from filling it out ?? I did fill it out and the questions that were asked made me feel like we are being set up ??

yeah if enough of us fill it out 'sensibly' we can skew the results however we want...

now theres an Idea, how about "we skew" the results.

Dont that make us as bad as the very thing this whole thread is scared of, the truth.

if you speed, tail gate, lane split or what ever the the survey asks, answer with the truth, maybe the survey people are bike riders and have the push to help us

or you could follow the conspirosy theory and think everyone is out to get you.

I come from a family that cant leave the house without being stopped for the "license check" (minimum) every second time we pull from the driveway, not only family but visitors aswell
only bike in the traffic, pulled over. royal show, searched. fly interstate, questioned before we leave. welcomed upon return. had more court time than the stenographer, only two serious crimes not to have had an appearance for was High Treason and Piracy, the late 80's early 90's,were a time for learning and obeying every rule in the book and some made up ones.
now, we dont speed, or lane split, or anything that costs the opportunity of a fine, my kids drive to the rules as they were taught.

you dont need to convince me there are prick out there that are trying to make it hard for riders, yet if the bike riding community is persistently breaking the law, what do you expect, the stereotype of V-twin are bikies, the jappas are all speed demons.

yet here on a forum, i am not saying you should fill in the survey and admit "we" are a menace to society, but why not tell the truth.
the old saying, if the cap fits.
I do doubt anything good will come from a survey of 500 riders, as you said, predominant with crutch rockets and 1 or 2 % of the total riders, but to openly say, lets sway the relult is (in my opinion), wrong

I think the whole poimt is, if we don't fill it out cautiously then it means anyone biker or not can fill it out any way they see fit.

Fellas, I know the survey aint a good thing as if the questions need asking, they may already know the answers, what I am saying is, if the answers given are not the truth, its a "swayed" survey,
giving answers as we always speed and tailgate and ect. will give the ammunition needed to Fnck us all, if we paint the picture of recklessness the laws change and we pay, the classic example is $800 to get a bike license but $25 for a car license.

the same survey but substitute bike to car would give the same answers, people spin the wheels, drink and drive, drive at speed ect.ect. but this would seem OK(ish).
with all the new rules, one must wonder how we all survived
have I dug a hole?? I want to have an opinion but cant it past the stones

I think I'm following what your saying soapbox but I'm saying tell em you ride carefully and cautiously on whatever bike you choose.
