Send me via email the saved upload from the bike in question and I can get you a proper calibration back for the Active System.

Just been working on the next level of our software. IF things go well there will be an update late next week or the beginning of the following week. This will give the Mastertune2 owners the ability to store the original file along with the last tune file in the interface and also get part of the changes needed for the updates that will follow this one. Should be a very interesting next few months with the new things we have in testing right now. As always these are no cost updates to our customers.

    Ando

C:\Documents and Settings\xxxx\My Documents\TTS\HD\MasterTune-HD\Uploads is where any saved .MTE files are placed as long as you didnot change the default path. The other way would be to use the Windows search function and have it search for *.MTE and it will find it for you.

F#$k this things doing my head in.Trying to perform first vtune and cant communicate with bike com port?looked at my old notes and I used com port 6 and the front usb port on laptop last time. I have loaded a couple cals before but not for about 9 months and had a massive tts update since.read through a mountain of stuff and went into data master then data recording to com port and had two selections 6 and 3 selected com6 back to bike. try to get ecm info NOGO. so I cant load old cal with new cam estimator adjustment 17-39 than work off that for first vtune.thats what im trying to do.

How can I activate the com port to talk to bike ? before laptop goes over the fence!

Mastertune2 is a separate program than the original Mastertune program, so you can have them both on the same machine with no issues.

Sorry Steve, but thats not what I am asking.

Is there any benefit in using the Mastertune2 software if I have the old dongle?

If any of the updates or program changes are not applicable to the old dongle, dont really see the point of downloading and using.

Been running round on a CAE176-03-AO.MT8 map for cupla months and finally got round to setting up me remote monitor so I can get into V- Tuning and gettin it running sweeter. Base map was an improvement but obviously more to be gained by VTune. Question is I have run the cam estimator and it come up with 5 open - and- 3 close. Does this sound right or have I done something wrong setting it up ?? Bike is 2011 FXDF with open stock pipes and K&N 3933 intake. Will be fitting V&H Staggered BigShots in cupla weeks .

    Cheers Kev

Do a Cam Tune to verify cam specs. You''ll more than likely find that the Cam Tune will show the IVO at a lower value than the estimator will show. - Rob

New Software has been released for you all. This update adds the ability for Mastertune2 users to store there Original and last calibration into the interface itself. It also allows Mastertune users the ability to manually select a com port for our old unit. This was added as some had issues with the automatic finding of a comm port on some PC machines with Bluetooth enabled.

Howdy Steve, been in Sweden for the past few months. Now getting ready for the nest efi / tts class in colorado.

Have 14 students this time. Biggest class yet.

Reluctant to teach the old format with out letting know what you have coming down the line. Spark! really?

Yeah, as I VTune with a remote monitor, the cell colour change feature when enough data is collected should be handy. With me being anal with most things, the cell centering feature might prolong the process instead of speeding it up. lol. I'm hoping the black dongle will be able to support the anticipated spark tune feature. - Rob

I think not guys as we would need to buy the mastertune2 to get the next round of hd06 software. I'm thinking of trying a set of 2-1-2 headers so I will need to do a few vtunes with the lastest software to tell how the old black dongle go's. I've done all right over the last 7 years with the sert and tts so if I ever need to update my money will go with the turbo shop.
