Ok found it,, had to download the updater to get Mastertune 2 and the new Cals for 2012 dyna, unfortunitly theres not much there to suit my bike as in a canned map.

I have a 2012 103cu Fatbob, with SE211 cam, with Hypercharger A/C with stock headers with the active exhaust flap turned off through the ECU and running Kromeworks slip ons.

Sometimes I change exhaust to V&H big radius.

Anyway had a good read of the manual, its not so hard if its just loading a canned map, will need 2 map if im changing exhausts.

Its a stock bike apart from the stage 1 and the cam, I cant work out how to add the cam to the stage 1 cal

OK fella's...I have done 4 runs and generated maps but still need to do more work...I am going for a ride this weekend so I have reset the changed settings back to original on my last generated map..Is there any need to blend the ve's across and down if I am not entirely happy with the map or should I blend them???

    Cheers...Sparra

Just wondering if it is possible to plug my computer into the ecm as if I were going to V-tune but not actually do a V-tune...I just wanted to see what temps my motor is running at...

    Cheers...Sparra

Yes, You can use DataMAster to record several diferent types of data beside doing a Vtune. If you look you will also find a way to produce a dyno report by collecting Dyno Data while using DataMaster on your bike. The on-line instructions included with DataMaster show you how to do it all but you will have to spend a little time reading them. I can help if you get stuck on it but the features are easy to use and can really help your understanding of what the engine is doing a lot.

Hey guys. Anyone know the wherabouts of a base map I could use for my '09' Vrod Muscle (VRSCF)?

I would try the MT7 MZA or the MZL base map for a start to see how the bike runs then start Vtuning from there.

Thanks mate. I'll look into it. I'm running a tune for a 2011 with basani slip-ons and ac (retaining O2's atm) at the moment.
Doesn't run too bad (little popping in decel) but I just haven't had time to get right into using the TTS yet.

Bought mine from M&M Cycles. Great people to deal with.
Don't know if there are any dealers over here.
    Think I paid around $395

    Hi all,

I'm gearing up for my first V-tune the bike runs Andrews tw37 cams, SEHB,Rush slip on's and a TTS base tune cya176-03.This tune is the closest to my set up the cya176-03 runs yuill yb12s-07 cams which is close to the tw37.

My question is what the go with the cam estimator? I looked at the tw37 specs and its all greek to me whats BTCD and ABCD can some advise what to put in here.Is there anythung else i should do before first V-tune with this set up.Thanks

Glaz, BTDC means Before Top Dead Centre, ATDC means After Top Dead Centre. Intake & also exhaust opening & closing events are measured this way, with the numbers representing the number of degrees each valve opens (before) or closes (after) TDC (Top Dead Centre) - Rob

Yes am reading tuning guide.Just about to start 1st Vtune.was wondering if i should try to dial the cams in a bit more before i start.

Would u guys recommend  making these cam changers before i start.Ive had this base tune in for over a year and it runs well but i feel there is more in her.

I got finished up at work this year so got a bit of time to do a tune.Im just reading up now how to add these settings to my cya176-03 tune and do first Vtune and marry them up.and how not to create 50 different tunes! Thanks for your help

Any advice would be most appreciated.

One of the very first things you should do is the CAm settings as they affect the entire tune. As long as th ebike runs well and holds a nice idle at 1000 RPM that's all you need to do the IVO setting, use the estimator for the IVC setting to get you going.
