I own a 2003-883 and think it's great. It has SE 2 slip ons, K&N filter and froward controls.

Looking for a few more ponies, so re-jetting and SE ignition module is in order.

If you have any other ideas for hot ups, that would be great.

JAP, I SEE YOU HAVE A SCREAMING EAGLE AIR CLEANER ON YOUR BIKE AND YOU SAID YOU HAVE A K&N AIR FILTER. I HAVE A 96 SPORTY WITH A SCREAMING EAGLE AIR KIT ON IT AND CANT FIND A K& N TO SUIT IT. CAN YOU TELL ME WHICH FILTER YOU ARE USING

It has K&N on the top of the filter facing out and two identifying numbers ( carby side C102A8 RU )  and ( side facing away for bike C102B8 RU ) it also has made in U.S.A on it.

NO NOT AS YET I GOT ONTO THE K&N SITE BUT COULDNT FIND ANY FILTERS THAT CROSS REFERENCED WITH THE SCREAMING EAGLE PART NUMBER. THE PART NUMBER ON THE ORIGINAL S/E AIR CLEANER IS 29044-04
