Team,
I drilled out the std mufflers on my 09 NRS yesterday as per some instructions on another site. This bike was whisper quiet and now has actually got a rumble.
6 holes per muffler and an hours work. Driiled the balck end caps - viola!
cheap performance and sound upgrade for those who dont want to spend bucks.
The mail on other sites says no need for a tune. Bike sounds throatier.
No risk with this mod - my sportster with SE slip ins is still way louder!
note on the NRS is deeper and motor sounds happier now that it can breath .
