I'm about to fit a brembo master cylinder to the older style 4 spot brakes on my 07 if anyones interested in the mod. The brembo master has a smaller piston that will decrese lever presure giving me better brakes with less effort.

The brembo master-cylinder run a 5/8 piston on the twin disc baggers and the reserve is larger then the older style. Not sure on piston travel but putting them side by side they look the same length but with out stripping both down I'm only guessing. The smaller 5/8 piston will give more pressure in the calipers and less at the lever. There a plug and play item with the old style switch gear but the banjo bolt is metric on the brembo and AF the old style. The only replacement parts needed are the mastercylinder, banjo bolt, brembo brake lever and pin.

I'll be interested to see how it works out.
Thought about this for my twin disc Dyna.

I keep you posted but still waiting on a few bits I ordered from HD. I should have them through the week so I will try for next weekend to fit it up and road test.

Hey hey you should have a look at "howardsmotorcyle metal" web site he has some good brake set ups for harleys--brembos,floating rotors, even carbon fibre wheels--cheers Grim
