looking @ using the 1250 c.c. barrel kit for the new sporty 883 iron with some cams & a slight head port & polish , this bike is a 2012 model too take out to 1200 you have to buy barrels as the later 2009 & up you can not bore them out to suit as per the earlier girls there is not enough meat in the barrel, if i'am going to buy barrels i was thinking of the 1250 kit's that are aval like NHRS brand or Hammer Performance , i only normaly use AXTELL or S&S if i go big bore , but they do not do this size kit , has anyone used these brands or know of any other brands i would like to hear any results , thanks

hi i love my sporties owned then since 1980 & still have 5 models
883 convert , your 1250 kit on the N4 andrews cam did you have pinking problems & what comp ratio is she , i use to use n4 on 883 to 1200 conversions , BUT COULD NOT RUN COMP RATIO OVER 9 TO 1 WITH OUT PROBLEM'S
