I think 60 minutes are doing a story on these types of cameras tonight. Might be worth a look?

Keen on the gopro. The hero2 looks the goods. Versatile. I have a waterproof camera and an expensive dslr that I never use. These things do everything, even the fps and a still every half a second or something? Will hopefully get one before xmas....are they doing run out specials on the h2 now the 3 has been released Mongrel?

Whats the process mate? How cheap do they get? I see they are on closeout specials on alot of the US websites, would rather buy locally if its competitive?

 Yep....im an annoying customer, started prank calling them after the 3rd visit just make sure....

G'day lads. The prices quoted above are for 1. So for the HD3 silver $329. If we get a few, they will get down closer to $300.

Keep in mind... GoPro know what cameras are bought here, and what are bought from USA. Just like HD, they don't warrant the ones bought from overseas.

I am not saying don't buy one from the USA if you can find it cheap enough, but thought you should know what happens if you need warranty is all.

The process for getting some cameras is easy... Let's see how many are interested, and I will organise the group buy. I will quite prices all before you order. That said, I can't give a price for say 10, and then 5 of you pull out and expect the price to stay the same - if you know what I mean.

So let's get a list running of who want's what model. They can be mixed, I don't mind. Once we have a list I will see what price can be had, and let you know. Easy!

Even the supplier from here will not warrent a GoPro if he thinks its been damaged from miss use. So I sent a email to the states with al the facts & the letter I recieved from Lusty & guess what they are replacing it under warranty. They gave me a repair No. & its on its way to the states now. So I think doesn't matter where you buy from as long you have all the paper work they will cover it I believe.

Out of curiosity, what did it cost you to send the camera back?

I see GoPro in the US have the silver for $299. I reckon we will get close to that if we get a few.

 It cost me approx $30 that's with insurance up to $300 if lost so ever way I will get a new GoPro.
