If you want to stop your new or re-chromed pipes from blueing (Pipes must be carbon free & clean) here is a simple remedy I have used succesfully for years. Get yourself some 1200deg Fireproof paint from  places like supercheap or Autobarn. Spray a heavy coat evenly on the inside of your header pipes as far down as possable, don't be cheap, spray a fair bit in there. Let it dry for an hour or so in the sun, then hit it up with another heavy coat. reapeat step two & apply the final coat which is three coats in all. wait an hour or so then assemble the exhaust to the bike, Fire it up until the engine has warmed up take it around the block a couple of times, let it cool off & then you are ready to go! Works for me! Try it what have you got to lose except $5 - $10 worth of paint and a few hours. If it dose'nt work you are welcome to abuse me!

    Cheers Guys.

I got a good one so you wont see the bluing.

Put on your fav set of plastic wet weather over pants and then allow them to touch the exhaust while you enjoying the wet weather ride. You'll be so pissed with the melted shit all stuck to your pipes you won't even see the blueing. Fuggen Plastic, mumble, mumble.
