BEWARE AS VRSCDX NUT CAME OFF SWINGARM BOLT AND WAS COMING OUT OF FRAME WHILST RIDING AT 110klph

Out riding last Sunday when notice the NRS drifting all over the road. Pulled over and checked the bike over to find the nut missing on the swingarm bolt and almost 3 inches of the bolt hanging out of the frame.

Bike is 3 years old and never had any work done to the swingarm. One side of the bolt was out of the frame so  it was only held in place hence the sloppy wheel.

did a search and found this is not uncommon.

Would be worth checking to see if yours is loose.

 Its always a good thng to check your nuts are still there once in a while..................especially if ya have a 'rod!

Geezus!! and to think i just got the swing arm bolt covers for mine to hide them away!!! bit unsure now. the ol outta sight outta mind thing
