    gday guys long time reader first time poster. now im in a pretty big pickle.... im due to pick up my brand spankin fxdwg on sat 13/10. CANT WAIT:) im pretty sure i wanted a harley since before i could talk!! but i digress... my problem being is the fella that was going to shadow me home has killed his clutch so he is unable to help me get her home....im still only on RE.... im sure you guys (and girls) can sympathise with me on the desire to ride out of the showroom. i have to pick it up from perth hd in cannington andi live down mandurah way. any help would be great and of course fuel lunch and expences will be covered by yours truley. thanks again guys

     You could always ask them to put it in the van and bring it down to you.

    I did that with mine, since I was to busy to pick it up.

    Cam, if your riding her home, take it easy for a while new tires are extremely slippery and the last thing you want is to go A over T.

    any tips on reducing the slip?? sand paper or something???

    hey cam

    dont ride hard for the first 100k :) Treat it the same as a set of new tyres...Takes about a hundred k or so to wear them in, just take it easy. Dont lean too much or anything push it too hard. Or she may slide out from under ya

    no worries was going to see you if wanted to take it out already. I was sitting here with nothing to do. Cant do my apes install till monday, so now the rest of my day is free was thinking about going for a cruise.

    its all good. I will have a drink or two then and prob end up not riding  and i will then  think its a good time to do something like invert my mirrors. Lets see if I remember to check tank clearance. One less thing to do on monday for the new bars.

    i wish i could blame it on that. The apes are in the workshop and I left my set of keys with the old man and he has decided to go to nannup for the weekend so I cant get in till he is back.

    not 100% sure yet i gotta touch base with BAKES to organize times but will probably work on that mid week. but by all means the more the merrier
