Hi some may have read i was having issue with my ride, it seems to be coming along done some tning but have a long way to go.

Question my bike is running Fing hot (about 160degC when out on the road stop and a light and it sky rockets up and fuel managment kicks in every time there is no air moving around it?)

I thought the oil was a bit full so i used a siringe and pull about 100ml out (one square under the full now on the dipstick) so thats not it?

Whats next cams have only been in for a week but to be honest i am not sleeping well with the problems I have had?

I am thinking of taking it back to the shop and saying pull it down again find something wrong i get it for free, dont find anything wrong I pay for the hours?

I have no idea where to go from here?

It was a real pig when i first got it? then i think it come good freed up? but now its running hot any ideas?

Oil bypassing the pump, which causes excessive oil level in the crank case, which in turn will cause heat build up and power loss. Generally caused by improper oil pump alignment or pinched oil pump o-ring, normally happens after a cam change.
To check, take bike for a quick ride and warm oil, remove plug from bottom of crankcase, measure amount of oil that drains out, any more than 1-2 ounces indicates scaveging problem as already described above. Plug is under the crank case, can be very tight to undo the first time, be careful.
Google, twincam sumping, google is your friend.

    Shadow.

I checked my data runs for you and my bike when working hard was only at 110c or 230F, so yeah man I think you have a problem.

I think you have an oil pump issue - which is what I thought it was originally! Maybe an o-ring or they did not align the pump properly.

Do you have an oil temp gauge on the dipstick?? If so, what was it getting to??
