Hi, i have a 2009 streetbob with a screamin eagle air filter, V & H straight shots and a power commander 5 installed. i am looking to install a new set of cams when i get the 5000k service done next month and i have been advised that S&S 510c or Andrews 37H are the best to install with stock heads and valve springs. A well known after market part supplier has also advised that i can install the easy start 583c cams as these were specifically designed for the softail and dyna models. i have read that cams under .590 of lift are ok with the stock valve springs.

Has anyone installed 583ce and what were they like ? i dont want to sacrafice torque for top end horse power but looking for some mid range gain. my mechanic has advised that i may get binding up of the valve springs if i install 583's.

Mate, while you are looking around - check out the Andrews 57h. New cams and I have just installed them in my 2010 Fatboy and love em!! Nothing else done except pipes are air.
