Cutting Windshields

    Like Quack said - quite easy with a jig saw.

    I used a spare screen as a template for the edge, pencilled the line along the protective tape then cut just outside it so I could sand back to the line.

    Couple of tips - one - the plastic melts as you cut, so make sure the removed part does not stick/weld itself back to the remainder as you cut .

    Two - after finishing the cut, put tape along both sides of the screen before sanding the edge  I used a foam sanding block and didn't notice my hands curling over the top and scratching the see-through face of the screen! Took ages to polish out the scratches......

    I dunno Bonk, but I would advance the cutter 4 degrees to get a nice smooth cut! ;)

    I us silicone spray as a lube when cutting perspex with a jigsaw it works great
