Don,t know the legalities , but followed a Sporty with the blinker lenses changed to red . They were both on as tail light , then lit up brighter when braking . When turning , one flashed . It looked odd .

     hi,

you can get a LED signal housing from harley which acts as run/turn/signal., its a complete unit and i think the nighster have them as standard but not sure what models they fit

they look pretty good and do provide a difference when you apply the brake

I have a module that makes my indicators light when brake is applied but I cannot change the lense to red (they use in the US on a lot of bikes)

    thanks

The Nightster, Iron, 48, 72, Blackline and Soft tail Slim all have the same tail/stop/turn lights. They have amber lenses, but light up red with red LEDs for tail light and stop light, and flash amber for turn signals. Cleans up the back of the bike, as no tail light needed. They do bugger up the Aussie models by adding plastic crap at the rear guard to mount the number plate. Yank models all have side mount number plates that look heaps better.  The yank models also seem to have a similar tail light/stop light/turn signal set up, but with red lenses, meaning the turn signals are red as well. I followed a Blackline around today for 400k's, the tail lights were the inside half of the lights and got brighter when braking, the outer half were amber for the indercators, I think they came on the bike from new
