    Gidday.

Thinking of fitting new bars to Bike. Wondering if anyone knows someone who has or knows somene with a late model FXDC superglide Custom that has 1"1/4 Western Bars fitted? if so how do you find them for rider comfort compared to stock bars? if you have photos comments it would be appreciated.

    Cheers

Your going to have to try them for yourself mate because what is comfortable for some may not be comfortable for you. If you like the look of them your probably best to try them and just hope they are comfortable. Thing I've noticed in trying different bars is the angle of your wrist which made some uncomfortable. My 14" Burleigh apes were the most comfortable I've had and they're about to go back on.

Mate I know its not a FX but on My softy they are great. Best photos i have are below. Just watch the width if you worried about those that like to fleese the public.

It seems hard to find 1 1/4 bars that don't reduce down in the centre...And I am not a fan of bar/riser combo's as there is no adjustment...

i put westerns on my heritage.they seemed to pull me to far forward with the stock risers so i fitted deluxe risers which liftted them up about 50mm and back.   the top of the risers come very close to hitting the speedo couling,2mm gap on full lock but doesnt really present any problem. still looks low and cool.these bars are wide so just check stretch when doing full lock manouvers (parking etc).very comfy in wrist posy .
