I’ll start firstly I was the black sheep of the family. Dads  a teacher, mums a teachers wife. I was expelled from grade 5 sent to a all boys school where I learnt to fight. Ran a card game which was rigged and took those rich fuckers to the cleaners. Good days

Started smoking cigs at 9 thx bro. Started smoking pot at 14 and  drinking at 14. Finished school at grade 10 . Did a trade coarse for a year good on ya dad .decided I had to work to support my drinking and smoking got myself a painting apprenticeship where I stuck at for till completion .Then moved to the Blue mountains where I met some excellent people . There I partied hard and would not   change a thing or the things we got up to .

Lived my life as a person that didn’t mind a drink. Didn’t mind a smoke but always wanted a bike. Never could afford one tho but the passion was always there.

I am the first to admit im no 1% . I HAD long hair and still have a goatee .I wear black shirts and jeans .I work hard . I don’t bludge . I don’t take shit from anyone and rules r meant to be broken .,Mates r mates and its 1 in all in .You  stand by yer mates and u don’t dog em . If  I got nothing to say I say nothing .

FTW means Forever Two Wheels to me .I’d rather sit by a fire drink till I drop and make a arse of my self .Now at 42 I finally got some money and  a license so I have my bike and its everything to me, All my life I have wanted and drooled over them at shows and rally’s and now I have 1 .When I get on it a smile from ear to ear appears and im as proud as punch some may say it’s a mid life crises but hey what would they know about me and/or  my life.

All this is me . Does it make me a biker probably not but hey I don’t give a shit what anyone thinks of me to tell the truth I ams what I ams I live my life the way I want too. If you don’t like like  ah well that’s life.

Any1 else prepared to tell us what makes them a biker . This thread will prove nothing  except we r all different but we have 1 thing in common we love our Harleys and that’s good enuff for me .

Wear a suit during the day. Attend corporate functions, dinners, balls etc for work.

Get home & it's a pair of boxers, t shirt & thongs. Deal with alot of very pompous people and have to grit my teeth way too often.

I ride bikes to blow the shit I've dealt with all week away. I'm the typical weekend warrior but without attitude. Not out to be someone or prove to anyone anything.

I ride cause I love it and when you're on the bike with the helmet on,.....it's just you....all you.....just suckin'it in & getting away from everything.

I come home a different person to the one that rode out........!!!

It's in my blood,....even broken bones & hospital stays don't put me off. I can't wait to get on two wheels,...be it MX or HD....I can't wait for my next ride,

In my book,....this makes me a biker!!

(P.S I was the Black Sheep too????)

Started for me at the age of 12.Walking home from school everyday backin Scotland. There was a bike dealership on the main road.Yamaha dealer. smelled the fumes when they were starting the bikes. From then on i was hooked.Had to wait 4 more yrs though.First ride was a 100cc trail. Got stolen about a year or so later.Secondly,rd250 that i had for 7 yrs, loved it,race tuned it, it was my baby.Emigrated here 20 yrs ago.Again, got on a Yam,rz500,only sold it last year when i started dreaming of Harleys.Ive had my Harley now for 4 months, love it to death.Dont think ill ever have anything other than a Hog.
For me, its just what i have been and always will be.
You fellas know what im saying, its in your blood same as me.
btw, in Australia i dont ride my bike with my kilt on! lmfao.
Stay safe people. Hope to catch a few of you at Lennox Head soon. cheers for now. ]

started riding about 18 so 24 years now I not the fastest or the best rider I just ride to what i feel safe. a few years back some really bad shit happened in my life and the only ting that kept me going was the time I spent riding the freedom of the road. So i will keep riding till the day i am not here any more. It dont matter what you ride or how you ride it just matters that you ride and what you get orm that ride.

When I ride well I have to concentrate on what I'm doing and the everyday shit gets forgotten, that's all.

I reckon you guy's have it all wrong, but then again I might be wrong,I'm sure you'll let me know.

A biker is someone and anyone who rides a bike,a bikie is a 1%er and there is a big difference, they party harder than us eh.

    Biker
    From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
    Jump to: navigation, search
    Biker may refer to:

a rider of a motorcycle i.e. one who participates in motorcycling
a member of a motorcycle club
    a rider of a bicycle

Wife bought me a HD while on Holiday in Cairns. I had been on a forced R&R for 12 weeks due to a Major headache. While in hospital she asked me, "if I made it what was the one thing I wanted", first response was a Harley. I survived so she bought it. Since then I have bought her one with the aim of enjoying life, not being tied to my job 24/7. There is nothing better.

I have alway's loved Harleys, and never thought much of jap road bikes and never owned one. I had an XR dirt bike when i was young. I always wanted a Harley because i love chrome, noise, the ability to customise your ride, and the freedom that goes with one, and riding with a bunch of mates that stood up for each other and had fun. I've alway wanted Tatts ever since i was a little kid, and have some now, my oldies hate them. I got into the usual trouble that kids get into, but living in a small country town you went out into the bush with your motorbikes and guns and had fun. I dont ride every week but i dream about it every day. I live it, dream it, love it.
