hi guys hoping someone might know this one,

I have a sissybar, sideplates and docking kit 53529-04 to suit for my XL, it will work fine as it is, I am hoping to get a set of saddlebags that require a different type of docking hardware 53544-04 in the near future (when i can come up with the bucks)...

the question is, am I better off buying the second one (dock kit) to suit the saddlebags (if it even fits without the saddlebags themselves)or can I just

install the first type till I get the bags??

(btw I bought the sissybar and crap on ebay and dont have any instructions on how to install the stuff anyway, seems simple... is it?)
