2 months after getting all excited about  buying my first ever harley im afraid to say the the divirce papers are on the table ! just cant do it any more its never going to be what i want it to be , its turned in to a money pit just trying to get it to handle the way i want and im fed up of of being thrown about , kiced out of the seat and generaly shaken to bits and thats just on the way to work , it a shame because i do like the look and the sound but its the worst ride i have ever had , time to move on , i would like to thank every one on the forum  for their help and advice over the last couple of months but me and the iron just dont see eye to eye !!! so its now up for sale , it comes with all standard parts plus a sidekick dual seat and a detachable short back rest ,here are current pics , thanks all .

Thats a shame mate, hope all goes well with the sale. I had a few issues adjusting after riding the Gixxer and a Ducati around for a number of years, still think the ride is a little rough but I've learnt to live with it!!

Its a good looking bike, you'll have no issues selling it!!

P.S - What you planning on upgrading to? I've got my eye on a BMW, when I say eye.................that is about it, too many expenses at the moment to afford another toy!!

May be its just the shit roads up here in the land that time forgot ! But I only ride 25 ks to work on the high way and feel every single bump and ripple on the iron , took my 30 year old gs1000 out on same road and was just so smooth , not wanting a sports bike for speed just want a comfy ride witch I can ride without scraping all the time , that's just the style of bike that suites me I tried to adapt to cruiser style and just can't the gamble didn't work !

Good luck animall Harleys are not for everybody the Sportster is a great bike for what they are but they are always going to be a rough ride I know I owned five of them, I own a Dyna now my third big V-Twin a far more comfotable ride but no sports bike and thats the way I want it a criuser, hope you are happy back on a Triumph I owned one but went the other way back to a Harley cheers.
