Might seem like a stupid question, but can anyone tell me the major difference on stroker pistons and normal pistons like for a 95 engine to a 103 110 etc.  And probably more to the point can they be used in a 4" stroke.

Yeah cheers Hilly, I wonder why Harley doesn't make some bigger pistons like 4" or 4.060" for the 4" stroke motors? You can obviously buy other makes and by all accounts they run bloody strong on the 88B motor. Could probably answer that question myself with dollars and a bottom end split hey!

Here are some images of a 4”X 4” 100” Sporty I did some years back ,Nev Lush did the dyno work .We discovered the header id was holding us back in the upper RPM range as you will see as the H/P flattening of and not falling ,this engine was designed to run up to 7,800rpm .

Lushy still cast’s his eye regularly over this sight and gives me the odd jab to make a comment.
