Hi all,
Thought I'd post a review of these jeans. The pants in question are the Draggin C-Evo relaxed fit Kevalr jeans. I got them from a friend of a friend brand new for $140 which was pretty good as they are about $300 in the shops.
The Upside. These are well made and seem durable. The reason I wanted these particular jeans was because
1. The Kevlar is from top to bottom, not just in the high risk area.
2. They have an elasic at the base so they can go under your boot and won't ride up in wind/crash
3. They have a breathable liner from top to toe so it feels nice on your skin and you dont get Kevlar rash
3. As the kevlar is all over and then lined, they are so warm. Even in freezing cold my legs were more than comfortable
The Downside:
I have a sneaking suspition my nads will catch fire come summer
Due to denim/kevlar/liner construction they are quite bulky. It feels you have 2 pants on.
While the fit is great the dark blue denim looks a bit "KMart".
When I tried on some of the other jeans in the shops the Kevlar fely rough against my skin and these were a good feel. Try them on, they feel great. I give them a big thumbs up! Hope this helps someone out there.
