I have a fat boy lo that i want to raise the front up with normal fat boy forks,has this been done? Are there any photo's?

For increased ground clearance, I love this bike but it,s a pain in the arse when I can,t get thru a sharp corner without grinding the boards. Wonder if the inner springs are all that is different or is it the fork tubes?

Ahh! I see! I love grinding my boards!! Let's you know you are still upright!!

An option is to remove the boards and replace them with pegs, youll have heaps more clearance.. I had a 98 fatty with 4" over fork tubes, handled great, was still able to scrape the pipes. youll need longer covers and brake line .

Ikon or progressive will have heavy fork springs to suit your bike. The heavy springs will make a huge difference in handling.

A mate has a fatty low and changed his over, goes round corners real well.

Hi all...Im also wondering if the Fatboy has longer forks than the Fatboylow or it has the same length forks with more sag ??????

If anybody is willing to jack there Fatboy[07 up] up to get the front wheel off the ground and do a measurement would be handy.
