Who gives a flying fuck. Sportster / Skirtster / Girls bike etc heard it all had mine 4 years plus now and no plans on retiring her, she just gets better. If thats the bike for you, buy it for you and not for what others think. One thing for sure, you will love the way it handles and rides.
Only people who like Nickelback ride sportsters. Cool, they rock lol

Well fuck everyone that says I'm a girl I had a look at the 72 today and I like (mostly) the look of it. Needs a bit of tweaking for me. What I don't like is the 8 litre tank because I piss more than that after a night out.
Maybe coz they're the smallest, cheapest entry level HD that they cop shit? Dunno, but I like 'em.
Back when I was choosing whether ta go Harley or Triumph I was test riding both brands. I mentioned to the Trumpy salesman I was considering a HD and the Sportie was more in my price range.
He said "the Sporties are Girls bikes - only 883cc!"
I says, "Well this Bonnie is only 850cc ... is it a Girls bike too?"
Anyhoos, there's some wicked / snarly looking Sporties getting around - they lend themselves well to a million mods; but don't ask us - just buy the f*ckin' thing!
