Anyone ever used something like this? Not sure if they would be any good, but they're cool as I'd be keen to understand whether anyone has used other material style gloves over the traditional leather/mesh style? Gimme a bit of a run down, good in summer, shit in weather etc?
Cheers

I use deer hide gloves, they're nice and thin so you can get out a smoke and light it, but they are also more abrasion resistant than cow hide so they can afford to be a bit thinner. I've gone down the road in a pair and they didnt wear through, unlike cowhide riggers gloves that did wear through (my only two crashes on the road in over 20 yrs) I believe deer is the second most abrasion resistant to roo hide. The unlined deer hide gloves are the most confortable gloves I've ever used (I've used all different types of leather gloves for work for over 20 yrs too). They're fine in stinking hot and wear them right through southern Vic winter unless I'm punching out big Klm's on a highway, then I have Elk gauntlets with lining. If I'm on the road for hrs and its literally freezing or raining non stop I have some thin waterproof gortex like over gloves but I cant remember when I've last used them. 5 deg and on off downpours and the Elk hide is fine.
Hope that covers a few basic points PS. If you have a problem with stitching aggravating your hands, get outer stitched gloves. Maximum comfort!
are they very dear, i have no idea , he can't see
