Hey. Anyone over Qbyn/Jerra side want to catch up for a ride sometime?..
Do any of you blokes ride outside Bungandore, braidwood or to Robbos for coffee and back? Me and a few good mates from round here ride every second to third weekend and do nothing less then 1500 ks every time. A few egsamples Went round Aus in April (5 states, 2 territories) got back home and fortnight later went down Vic with the boys for weekend. Next fortnight was up to Dungog for the weekend. 2 weeks later few mates and off to Vic for the weekend. Fortnight after that 13 of us rode to Bundaberg and back. I have put on this thread a couple of rides and not even a reply, it seems robbos or martica for coffee is more preferred. Just wondering cause for me riding a Harley is about getting away with mates for the weekend and living on the bike. Its the lifestyle of doing Ks and comrademanship with mates. I wont even get my bike out of the shed to do 50 ks or to go to the shop. Ah forget it . If I have to explain ya wouldn't understand.
I hear you Chriso,
I live down Bega way. I get up to Canberra a fair bit, going there or travelling through. I've gone on some good rides lately, Broken Hill, Queensland, West Victoria , etc. Usually solo , or one other, its just the way it is, work, wives , kids etc. Actually, I'm going to the Winter Rally at Neriga, (13th - 14th July) , but thats just a spit for you Canberra riders. I'll keep a look out of this thread if you and your mates have a ride organised I'll see what I can do. If your riding down through this way post it on the thread and well organize to meet up around here somewhere and carry on riding .
Cheers Mark
Wish I could do more riding and longer trips but young family and busy job don't often allow it. Different lifestyles at play. Ill ask if ur able to ride as often and far as you like in ten years time
Hi Hooknit,
I see from your pics you have a nice ride. Piss off the GPS and the maps, fill your girl up, and go !!!! There are enough signs about to get you back home. I 've had the best times riding country roads , getting lost, stopping and staying at towns and pubs I've never heard of, not to mention the ocasional smile and wink from a spunky barmaid,(say no more), . Each to his own I guess !!! Ride safe.
