I reckon forwards are the go for ya.
Also might find some upgraded rear shocks will make a big difference.
Harley as a first bike, lucky bugger, my first bike was a Suzuki Ag Bike (High Low Range Gearbox). All of 120cc if I remember correctly.

Not super tall. 6'1". I won't be fitting them myself, getting the guys at the Harley shop to sort that, kills my wallet with the labor but worth it for getting the job done right.

agree some things are best done in the shop for all the stuffing around involved. Other things are great to stand back after it and think, yep I did a good job

Have you done the forwards yet? Are you going to do the install yourself? I did a set of forwards about 1 week ago and they are no that bad to do yourself and beats the dealers charge for install.

I threw 600km on my bike today, it was my first decent run with my new forwards, what a difference!

I'm 6'2" and kept the mid pegs fitted so I can change positions as I like, but one thing I fucken well hate is that my knee rubs the side of my heavy breather. Do you have the same problem with the football air cleaner?

Do you reckon you will end up buying stirrups or heel-rests?

Yeah it does, I fucken hate that air cleaner. Looks like such a piece of shit. Can ya put a heavy breather on without the stage 1 or is there no point.
