Friday I picked up my first Harley Davidson.. actually my first motorcycle full stop. I've only ever wanted a Harley and this week it all came together. So today at 9am I decided I would fit my new skull grips... Well 5 hours later after so much fucking around and stress I finally had them on sweet. That right hand grip is a BITCH!!! after taking off the air filter to get at the throttle and battling to get the lines back on I realise there are adjusters just under the brake lever... Sigh. Yes I know many will be laughing but I'm pretty proud of my effort. I did read the manual and looked online for help but just wasnt finding what I needed so there it is. My first little bit of customizing done.

well you have learned more about you bike as a result so thats a good thing. You will know how to change the cables when you change the bars.

Yeah she is a heavy girl. Well, I havent got too much to compare it to but from the dirtbikes I've ridden it certainly is. But I'd rather learn on the bob than a 250. Cant stand those jap bikes. Jus gunna work my ass off to keep my harley and cruise her round when its quiet.
