Yep, a lot of $$$ for little gain. Mate of mine had his genny shovel done over 10 years ago, been very reliable but he said the S&S E was a much better performance upgrade. Not to mention the hastle of mounting extra coils etc . Just my 10 cents worth.

  

Too much hassle for minimal gain. Want to play? Bathtub the heads and use Evo type flat top pistons. Convert to Evo lifter blocks and lifters. Then a little nitrous, maybe a super charger. (I'm being sarcastic!!!! LOL) Locadd Shovels are meant to be loved, leave it alone and enjoy the classic that a Shovel is.
