Well, finally got them on last night! Was a complete pain in the ass though to be honest. We couldn't get them on with the O2 sensors plugged in, so had to take those off and install once the pipes were mounted. Which was then VERY difficult to. All up took us close to 2 hours to install them! Worked out in the end though, as they look and sound sweet. Such a different sound to the shorties. I love them. Will try and get a vid up of the sound.
Yeah was a big pain. We got it tightened eventually, but man....you think they'd make something that's supposed to be straight bolt on easier haha. Few observations: 1.) The sound is phenomenal. I love it. Completely different to the VHs. 2.) My ears don't bleed with pain going over 80kph as they did with the VHs. 3.) I don't have to switch to 5th whenever I'm going over 60kph as I did with the VHs (mainly because they made me go deaf at that RPM range when in 4th) 4.) Maybe it's just me, but power delivery seems to be so much smoother, especially low to mid. 5.) The bike doesn't vibrate like it's falling apart as it did with the VHs. So all in all, super happy with the change!!!
Well, here's a quick clip of how it sounds. It was taken in my carpark, so it's a bit echo-ey.....I'll take another one some other time when I'm outside.
