after getting my 94 electra glide a major service i have found a heap of damage from rats to wiring underneath all that fairing.they patched it up a bit but when riding Home the other night the bloody lights went out on me, i pulled it apart myself and not only is the wiring messed up but there is a few things rusted too. the mechanic reckons to replace all the wiring would be crazy expensive, so i was thinking maybe i could just get rid of the electra glide front end and replace it with a fatboy front end or something.

has this been done before?

do you reckon this is even an option?
