Goffy mate, I fitted my fuel pak from new with the V&H pipes & it still pops when ya get off the throttle, I don't believe there is much ya can do about it, thats why some members have gone to the thunder max as it give a wider variety of detailed adjustments that you can make to the system to eliminate it.

I'm sure someone with a wider knowledge will clear it up for ya in a more detailer way.

I used to have one it did the same thing not as bad if you have the quiet baffles but i read somewhere if you email vance and hines technical advice department there is a setting you can change to try and help with this cheers

The fuel pak has a lot of adjustment built into it,the hard part for a lot of people is finding settings that are suitable for their bike and mods.A lot of the settings that are on the Vance and Hines site are not relevant to Australian bikes and conditions and fuels etc.

    Hi ,

I have a road king classic 07 and have the V&H fuel pak fitted with the recommended settings. I have V&H classic slipon mufflers and K&N high flow filter. The decel popping is pissing me off. I tend to try go a tad faster round corners to not close off the throttle completly rdeuce the banging not allways a good idea

I still have the standard HD headers and was wondering if changing to the V&H Dresser dual would help this at all?

The other option was to change the EFI to a comander or whatever is the best at this point in time. I also have to concider that there is no full time HD mechanic or speed shop to attend to the fault. (Remote Region) and we are on our own with any thing other than a commander.

    Any ideas fellas?

    Jono.

    Jono,

as per PKSheds comments, have a look at the FuelShot. Also do a search on Fuelshot in the threads as there has been excellent user feedback.

It is as plug and play as you are going to get. And if you need any assistance, then we are right here.

    Cheers
