A few months ago I put up a post showing how I put Kuryakyn floorboards on my Fatbob. They mount to the normal mount and I was never 100 % happy with that. As always happens, just after I fitted them I saw a Dyna conversion kit from M & M in the states, and thought I would give it a go.
How the full kit comes from M&M
What the Kuryakyn boards looked like.
Once you've removed the footpeg, you need TORX bit to remove the peg mount , and then the brake lever comes off. Same size TORX will undo bracket off the frame.
Once to mount is off, undo the locknut at the rear master cylinder, and holding the nut on the mastercylider, you can unscrew the brake lever rod.
Then bolt the new brake lever mount to the frame, and torque to capscrews to 25 ft/lb
Put some Never Seez on the brake pedal before fitting to the mount.
The new brake rod, reverse the removal of the original to fit, you can adjust the pedal height once everything is fitted.
Remove the midmount frame plugs.
Fit the rear footboard mount where the frame plugs came out of.
Fit the floorboard and the brake side is sorted.
Yeah, these wouldn't fit with the standard Fatbob pipes. Probably wouldn't fit with those pipes you have either. I could do some measurments if you like.
